Grand Design to Host 2nd Annual Christmas in July Event Saturday

Grand Design RV will host its second annual Christmas in July toy drive to support the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program.

The program helps the Marines bring the joy and hope of Christmas to less fortunate children through the gift of a new toy.

The toy drive will be held 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. ET on Saturday, July 22, at Grand Design RV’s customer service and support center, located at 5200 Hoffman Street in Elkhart, Indiana. Food trucks will be on-site and will accept cash donations. Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus will also be attending to support the cause. Photo opportunities will be available.

If community members want to participate but are unsure what to donate, Grand Design RV has created an online Christmas in July buyers guide. Toys donated will directly benefit children in Elkhart County and the surrounding area. Only new and/or unwrapped toys will be accepted. No toy guns, bows or arrows will be accepted for donation.

Since 1947, the Toys for Tots program have assisted more than 272 million children.
