Great Alaskan Holidays Names New Shop Foreman

Great Alaskan Holidays, Alaska’s largest RV rental, sales and service company, announced the promotion of Josh Miranda to shop foreman.

Miranda has been a valued member of the Great Alaskan Holidays team since 2016, bringing a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to excellence in operations and customer service, the company said.

Prior to this promotion, Miranda served as facilities manager for Great Alaskan Holidays, where he played a key role in maintaining and improving the company’s facilities to ensure a seamless experience for customers and staff alike. Before joining the company, Miranda worked as a seasonal shop foreman for the Holland America Princess passenger train, managing operations in their Healy, Alaska, yard.

A lifelong Alaskan, Miranda is a proud graduate of Bartlett High School and the University of Alaska Anchorage Diesel Program. His roots and professional journey reflect his strong connection to Alaska and his dedication to supporting both the state’s workforce and its tourism industry.

As shop foreman, Miranda will assist in overseeing the daily operations of the company’s service shop, ensuring the highest standards in motorhome maintenance and customer readiness. His leadership will help guide the service team in supporting Great Alaskan Holidays’ reputation for reliability and quality in Alaska’s RV rental and sales market, the company said.
