Gulf Stream Coach recently hosted its first-ever “Celebration” for owners of the company’s Vintage Cruiser and Vista Cruiser laminated lightweight travel trailers. The one-day gathering was held in and around the pavilion at the country club facilities on the Gulf Stream Coach property.
The capacity crowd, representing more than a dozen different floor plans and sixteen states, enjoyed detailed presentations from company experts and small-group breakout sessions with several key suppliers.
“We were thrilled with the overwhelming response to our first group event for Cruisers,” said Scott Parkhurst, company vice president of sales and marketing. “The enthusiasm and excitement of Vintage and Vista Cruiser owners is simply extraordinary. The Vintage and Vista Cruiser owner experience has ignited a passion for trailer camping and all the friendship, adventure, and flat-out fun that go along with it.”
The information sessions covered virtually every aspect of Cruisers, the company said: from front hitch to rear bumper, roof to tires, with company staff and experts from Dometic, Way Interglobal, King Components, and LCI providing real-world solutions, practical advice and answers to owners’ specific questions in a relaxed, casual atmosphere.
Several owners also shared their own stories, describing their experiences organizing rallies, and logging thousands of miles and hundreds of nights in their trailers.
In addition to the information sessions, the owners enjoyed meals and snacks with the presenters, spent plenty of time in conversation with each other and the Gulf Stream Coach staff, and took advantage of a complimentary visit to the RV/MH Hall of Fame before heading out of town.
“It has been a great experience, full of tremendous feedback from our customers on how they like to travel and camp in their units,” said President Phil Sarvari said. “Based on the value of that direct communication, we look forward to hosting similar events in the future.”
