Hellwig Products has released its new bolt-on, rear sway bars for the 2019 to 2020 Ford Ranger for both stock and lifted ride heights. Available for both two- and four-wheel-drive applications, these rear sway bars improve driving dynamics and driver control during daily driving, towing, hauling and off-roading situations, according to the supplier.
The new Ranger does not include a rear sway bar, causing the truck to have decreased steering control and excess body roll most notably during towing and hauling conditions. Hellwig’s upgraded rear sway bar delivers a reduction in body roll and lateral sway when entering corners, tightening up the truck’s driving dynamics.
The Ranger Rear Sway Bars are forged from solid, heat-treated 4140 Chromoly steel bar stock and finished with a “Hammertone” powder coat to prevent corrosion and wear. Owners can tune the stiffness of the rear sway bar to match their driving style with the sway bar’s integrated three-hole adjustable rate ends.
Hellwig’s Ranger Rear Sway Bars are available for stock height trucks (part No. 7778), as well as trucks with two- to four-inch lifts (part No. 7842) and include polyurethane bushings that allow for smooth, squeak-free operation, as well as adjustable end links to allow for integration with both factory and aftermarket suspension setups.
Hellwig sway bars can be installed in with hand tools with no drilling or welding required and come with all necessary parts and hardware. Hellwig sway bars are covered by a lifetime warranty on all steel parts.
