Highland Ridge RV is planning to start production of its recently introduced travel trailers in Twin Falls, Idaho, in early 2019. The announcement will be communicated to current and prospective Open Range, Mesa Ridge and Highlander dealers in advance of the Elkhart Open House next week.
“Our western region dealers have been very vocal about the benefits of producing an entry price point unit in the western half of the U.S.,” said Marc Hauser, VP of sales and product development for the Jayco Towable Divisions. “We’ve gathered dealer input and market data since the product roll-out which ultimately led to the decision that our consumers and dealers would benefit significantly from the logistics and freight advantages of producing in the west.”
Production in Idaho is planned for first quarter of 2019, in advance of the spring selling season.
