Improving Fixed Operations on RVDA Con/Expo Workshop Agenda

DealerPRO will be presenting three workshops at the upcoming RV Dealers Convention Expo aimed at helping improve fixed operations success at any dealership.

First, at 8 a.m. on Nov. 14, Ken Barnes, director of sales for DealerPRO, will present “Four Simple Changes for a Record Year in Fixed Operations.”

Barnes will provide the outline for RV service and parts departments to dramatically increase gross profits through proven processes to include compensation plans, training outlines, measuring results and making adjustments, plus ways to reduce RECT (repair event cycle time).

Next, at 11:30 a.m. on Nov. 14, CEO Don Reed of DealerPRO and Peter Martin, director of marketing for DealerPRO, will examine “Technician Recruitment: Best Practices for Hiring & Retaining Top Talent.”

The pair will share proven best practices for identifying and attracting top talent, leveraging digital platforms such as social media advertising, and search engine marketing to reach potential candidates.

Then, at 2 p.m. on Nov. 14, Barnes returns to host “10 Key Habits of Top Performers in Fixed Operations.” This workshop will cover key processes that, when followed, increase gross profits and gives attendees a checklist of items to ensure success.

These workshops take place during Fixed Operations Day at the RVDA Convention. The special discounted Fixed Operations Day price of $389 is good for admittance to the convention beginning on the evening of Wednesday, Nov. 13, and all-day Thursday, Nov. 14.
