Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park Camp-Resorts, on pace for its 11th consecutive year of record revenues, will hold a workshop for prospective investors and owners Nov. 10 at the Embassy Suites in Charleston, S.C.
The Jellystone Park 101 workshop will offer an in-depth look at the brand, including opportunities throughout the U.S. with a focus on the Southeast.
“The family camping market is exploding across the country,” said Jim Westover, VP of product development and sales. “The Jellystone Park concept is extremely appealing to Millennial families who want to enjoy pools, water slides and splash grounds, activities and the comforts of premium cabins while vacationing.”
The workshop will explore ways to build a new Jellystone Park, convert an existing campground to a Jellystone Park or purchase an existing franchise. Finance Depot will present financing options. National School of RV Park and Campground Management instructors will lead an overview of the camping industry. LLA Hospitality, a leading campground management provider, will give a hospitality presentation.
“The Southeast offers tremendous potential,” Westover said. “Like the family camping market, the region’s population is growing rapidly, and the year-round camping season makes owning a family camping resort potentially very lucrative.”
Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park Camp-Resorts, with more than 75 locations in the U.S. and Canada, was ranked No. 202 in Entrepreneur magazine’s 2019 Franchise 500 for its outstanding growth, financial stability and brand power.
Jellystone Park is celebrating its 50th anniversary.
