Big Daddy’s RV recently opened up a 27,000-square-foot store on the side of the interstate in London, Ky.
This story by Topher Payton originally appeared in The Sentinel Echo.
Before they officially cut the ribbon last Thursday, the owners recognized all veterans in attendance with a round of applause during a playing of the Armed Forces Medley.
They also had a special presentation of the colors, where they raised an American flag that is two stories high and three stories long. Members of the Keavy chapter of the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) helped raise the flag.
In addition, members from the DAV also did a 21 gun salute at the flag raising.
The new property sits on a 35-acre farm complete with a fellowship barn and a fishing pond, where people who have RVs can come hang out, or people looking to get one.
Big Daddy’s new location is 325 County Farm Road in London, right by the interstate.
