Keystone RV recently opened the doors on a secondary pre-delivery inspection facility on its Goshen, Ind., campus. The 23,060-square-foot building has increased unit capacity, adding 16 PDI bays and more than doubling quality inspection personnel.
According to Jeri Edwards, Keystone RV’s quality assurance manager, the new building provides more physical space and increases program flexibility.
“As a company we are constantly growing and improving our processes,” said Edwards, “the new secondary PDI was a natural next step in that continued improvement.”
The secondary PDI building will function as an additional check-point after the extensive in-plant quality inspection process.
“We want our customers to enjoy their RV so we perform secondary inspections to ensure they are getting the best quality product,” Edwards said. “The safety of our customers is extremely important, and this new building will help us to further ensure every little aspect our products are built to protocol and in working order.”
“The new building is a natural step in the continued growth of our company,” said Jeff Runels, president of Keystone. “We are constantly searching for steps we can take to build on our efficiency and keep powering forward.”
