Keystone RV Co. is a step closer to completing plans for building a new storage lot in Goshen, Ind.
The Elkhart County Commissioners unanimously approved the company’s request to re-zone a chunk of land from agricultural to limited manufacturing during Monday morning’s meeting.

The vote followed the county planning and development department’s recommendation for the zoning change.
Keystone’s request involves about 20 acres of land the company owns between U.S. 33 and C.R. 40, according to county data. The land is currently vacant, and Keystone wants to use it to build an outside storage lot for RVs. The lot would be accessible from Keystone properties next door, west of the lot, county information shows.
The vote came as the Goshen City Council considers a request by Keystone RV to annex the property into the city.
