THOR subsidiary KZ RV hosted the first half of its Dealer Service School, a four-day intensive course for dealers to learn the most up-to-date service techniques for KZ and Venture products.
Two class periods were held during November, with two more to be held in January.
During training, supplier technicians and KZ service technicians demonstrate valuable service and repair techniques for students, as well as offer hands-on product demonstrations. Classes feature a wide variety of areas covered, including AC units, water heaters, furnaces, water pumps, slides, electrical troubleshooting, brakes, axles, decals and more, including extended body shop training. The half-day training session has now been expanded to two classes in fiberglass and body repair in the morning, and final prep and paint in the afternoon.
Sean Andrews, vice president of service operations, said “Because we are constantly offering new features and updating our RVs, training sessions like these are incredibly beneficial. Throughout the years, they have remained exceptionally popular and are tailored directly to our dealers’ feedback, allowing us to provide the essential information needed to benefit customers the most.”
