La Mesa RV Center has promoted Bob Upton to the role of CEO for the corporation and Jason Kimbrell to the role of president, the role which was previously held by Upton.
Upton has held numerous roles within the company over the past 24 years. In his new role, he will be overseeing all operations of the company. As president, Kimbrell, co-owner of La Mesa RV, will become more involved in the day-to-day operations of the company with time spent in growing sales and service functions.
With these recent changes, Kimbrell, founder of La Mesa RV, will continue in the role as chairman of the board.
La Mesa RV was founded in 1972 in a suburb of San Diego, Calif. Today the company is known for offering new brands in RVing including Tiffin, Winnebago, Heartland, Fleetwood, Roadtrek and more as well as having one of the largest inventories of pre-owned, late model motorhomes. The company currently counts eleven locations including San Diego and West Sacramento, Calif.; Quartzsite, Phoenix, Mesa and Tucson, Ariz., Albuquerque, N.M., plus Daytona Beach, Sanford, Port Saint Lucie and Fort Myers, Fla.
