La Mesa RV is temporarily closing its location in Albuquerque, N.M., out of an immediate precaution in relation to COVID-19 pandemic.
Meanwhile, La Mesa RV said it has instituted company-wide sanitizing and enhanced cleaning of all facilities nationwide. Employees and consumers coming into stores have been asked to keep an appropriate social distance.
“Our main goal is to provide a safe environment for all of our family members whether it be our customers or our employees,” said Bob Upton, CEO of La Mesa RV. “COVID-19 has changed the lives for millions across the world. We’re taking the unprecedented step of temporarily closing our Albuquerque store out of an abundance of caution to further protect the health of our employees and customers.”
Customers calling the store in Albuquerque will have calls routed to the La Mesa RV location in Tucson, Ariz. RVs that were in for service in Albuquerque prior to the closure will need to remain at the facility until a planned reopening on Monday, April 13. Customers with RVs in for service are being contacted by La Mesa RV alerting them to the closure.
