Land ‘N’ Sea has appointed David Karpinski as director of sales. He will be responsible for the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions.
Karpinski served most recently as president of Taylor Made Group’s marine aftermarket division, where he was general manager of their manufacturing and distribution facilities in Gloversville, N.Y. He previously served for more than 20 years as its VP of sales and marketing, where he led Taylor Made’s brand marketing, product development process and managed major accounts and independent representative agencies. He has served on the NMDA board of directors since 2015 as well as the executive director of the Parkhurst Field Foundation, a non-profit he founded in upstate New York. He lives near Saratoga Springs, N.Y., with his wife Amanda and two children.
“I am thrilled to join this great organization. Land ‘N’ Sea is a leader in marine distribution, and I have always had the most respect for the organization, management team and sales representatives in the field,” said Karpinski. “As a former supplier to the organization, I have had a lot of experience and interaction with the team and with the dealers they serve in the market. I am looking forward to bringing my sales and marketing experience to the organization and working with each of them to mutually grow the business.”
“We welcome David to our team,” said Ken Ferleger, VP of sales for Land ‘N’ Sea. “He is incredibly well respected in the marine industry and brings a wealth of sales leadership and operational experience to our organization. He will lead our continued expansion and develop strategic initiatives in the markets we serve. We are very excited to add David’s unique skillset and experience to our organization.”
