Leadership Conference Details Released

RV industry leaders are converging in Tampa, Fla., on Sunday to kick off the 2018 Annual RV Leadership Conference at the Marriott Waterside Hotel. Executives and future leaders of the RV industry will meet to look back at the successes from 2017, recognize champions of the industry, and gather insights on the current and future business environment. Members will also be charting the course for the upcoming year as committees meet on Sunday to lay out their visions for 2018 and develop strategic initiatives.

Future industry leaders will also lead an interactive lunch session where they discuss the challenges and opportunities they foresee in the RV industry over the next few years during a Future Leaders Luncheon. The facilitated event that will spark conversations, generate solutions and provide tangible takeaways to implement throughout the industry.

Attendees will hear from economist Peter Morici on Monday morning, sponsored by Dentons, as he outlines the leading trends that will define the global economy over the next decade and key elements of the Trump Economic Program with an economic outlook for 2018 and 2019.

Morici is an emeritus professor of business at the Robert H. Smith School of Business, the University of Maryland and a national columnist. His views appear regularly in MarketWatch, the Washington Times, other major metropolitan dailies throughout the U.S. and Canada, and on the website of Fox and others.

On Monday afternoon, our second keynote Josh Linkner, sponsored by Dometic, will take the stage. The thought leader and New York Times bestselling author will discuss innovation, creativity, reinvention and hyper-growth leadership. As the founder and CEO of five tech companies, Linkner built his businesses from a blank page into a combined value of over $200 million.

Attendees will set sail aboard the Yacht Starship on Monday evening for the Chairman’s Reception to cap off the conference before heading to the Florida RV Super Show on Tuesday, Jan. 16.
