TRA Certification recently appointed Mandy Leazenby as its new president. She will assume responsibilities immediately and will succeed Thomas Arnold, TRA founder. Arnold will remain as chairman and CEO.
Leazenby has been part of the TRA Certification team for almost 10 years. During this time, she has “green certified” almost 300,000 RVs across the U.S. and Canada to a green building standard tailored to RVs, park models and tiny homes.
Leazenby also is active in the residential housing market, completing green building and energy efficiency compliance, and testing for homes and multi-family buildings.
“Mandy has certainly earned the right to be our president through her dedication to the goals and principles of TRA,” said Arnold. “Her focus on the environment through our Green RV Programs and our new home testing activities has been in strong support of our mission.”
“I am honored and humbled by this new role and am excited to continue working with the best builders and RV manufacturers and help to lead the industries into the next generations of green & energy certifications,” said Leazenby.
Leazenby has extensive experience in the RV and residential housing industries, with a specialization in energy and sustainability. She held positions at Jayco, Cavco Park Homes & Cabins, and WSBT Fox 28 before finding her role at TRA. She serves as a board member with the Builders Association of Elkhart County & Elkhart Rotary and volunteers as a court appointed special advocate.
