Lippert has announced sales promotions for four of its staff.
Dan Serafini has been promoted to director of marine sales for Aluminum Products, Grant McGinnis has been promoted to regional director of sales for Utility Towable Products, Chris Scheetz has been promoted to director of exterior sales and Matt Lebaron has been promoted to director of sales for Chassis.
Serafini has 25-plus years of marine industry experience. After graduating from Indiana University with a degree in business and finance, he worked for Taylor Made for 20 years before Lippert’s acquisition. Most recently, he held the marine business development manager role at Lippert. In his new role as director of marine sales for Aluminum products, he will be working with and supporting a sales team focused on the aluminum marine segments at the OEM level. The main objectives of his new role are to expand existing programs and cultivate new programs for the various marine product offerings under the Lippert marine division. He will oversee account managers and regional sales managers based out of Indiana, Michigan and Missouri, while working closely with OEM builders throughout the Midwest.
“With over 20 years of experience in the marine industry, Dan is the ideal team member to take on this new role within the Lippert marine division,” said Michael Oathout, director of marine sales. “We have all been impressed with Dan’s track record for customer support, product knowledge, innovation and team building. These attributes, along with Dan’s passion for the marine industry, make him the ideal candidate for this newly developed position of director of marine sales for Aluminum Products. I’m excited for Dan, our team and our customers, as this position will only enhance our overall customer experience with a targeted approach to the aluminum boat market.”
McGinnis began his career as a territory sales manager, selling highly engineered lubrication to similar industries such as the steel industry, metal working, oil and gas, as well as Lippert. For the last five years, he has held the account manager position in the Utility Towable Products (UTP) group in the Texas region at Lippert, promoting axles, doors, windows, hydraulics and many other Lippert products. In his new role, McGinnis’ responsibilities will include leading a sales team that covers the South and Midwest with a focus on market growth and collaborating on innovative new projects for the UTP market.
“Grant joined us five years ago and has been a business development representative since then,” said Bob Boone, vice president of sales for Utility Towables. “His territory has grown three and a half to four times during his five years at Lippert. He excels at developing strong personal relationships with his external customers as well as his internal teammates. In his new role, Grant will have a heavier influence with a few of his existing teammates in different regions. He will continue to form new relationships and business and will be able to help his teammates do the same.”
Scheetz is a United States Marine Corps Veteran with 10 years of sales experience working closely with customers on furniture, mattresses, kitchen and bath products, as well as Furrion products. He has worked for Lippert for nearly eight years and most recently held the director of interior sales position. In his new role as director of exterior sales, Scheetz will oversee seven sales team members, seven product categories and four Lippert facilities, including Plant 58 (awnings, bag doors, entry doors, ramp doors and countertops), Plants 227 and 228 (bonded windows and framed windows) and Plant 148 (bag doors, entry doors and ramp doors).
“Throughout his time at Lippert, Chris has gone above and beyond to take care of our customers, both internally and externally,” stated Andrew Mock, vice president of RV Sales. “Putting him in this role will allow him to continue forging those meaningful relationships while offering guidance and support to our sales team.”
Lebaron has worked at Lippert for the past 30 years, starting his career in McAdoo, Pennsylvania, as a manager trainee. He spent 20 years in operations and eventually moved to sales, where he has been for the last 10 years. His most recent position at Lippert was the director of exterior sales. In his new role, he will serve customers on the chassis side of the business and continue to be a steadfast leader for the sales team.
“We are thrilled to have Matt step into the role of Director of Sales for our chassis team,” said Mason Ogle, vice president of RV Sales. “With 30 years invested at Lippert, his unmatched level of product knowledge and passion for serving our customers will continue to solidify his role as part of our leadership team. We are confident he will continue to raise the bar for our sales team, and we look forward to his continued success.”
