Lippert Unveils New Hydraulic Leveling System

Lippert debuted its newest innovative hydraulic leveling system dubbed BaseCamp.

Designed for both fifth wheels and motorhomes, BaseCamp is the latest addition to Lippert’s portfolio of automatic leveling and stabilization products aimed at making the campsite setup process safer and more efficient for RV owners.

Lippert introduced its first-ever automatic hydraulic leveling system, Level Up, to the towable market in 2009. Since then, more than 100,000 systems have been put into the RV market, setting a new standard for how RV owners level their fifth wheels and motorhomes. For the last two years, Lippert said its veteran electro-hydraulic engineering teams were tasked with creating a better, more aesthetic leveling system, and thus BaseCamp was born.

“BaseCamp sets a new standard for leveling systems with its game-changing features and enhanced user experience. With an updated and refined leveling cylinder and a redesigned foot pad, the system offers a significant improvement in performance and appearance while offering easier installation than current leveling systems,” Lippert said.

One of the standout features of BaseCamp is its touchscreen interface. Boasting intuitive controls and anticipating users’ next actions, the touchscreen is tailored to deliver an experience like no other. This smart system not only simplifies operation but also ensures a consistent experience across all OneControl devices, the company said.

With BaseCamp’s on-screen troubleshooting, the days of searching through manuals for answers are long gone. Users can enjoy the convenience of easy-to-understand status updates and simplified assistance right at their fingertips, ensuring they’re always in control of their leveling system.

Additionally, installing the BaseCamp hydraulic leveling system has never been easier. With a significant reduction in weight and installation complexity compared to other leveling systems on the market today, OEMs can save valuable production time setting up the system.

For an even better user experience, Lippert has designed BaseCamp to include an optional LED lighting feature. BaseCamp’s integrated LED lighting underneath the jack illuminates the ground below, making setup even more convenient.

“We believe in delivering products that redefine convenience and elevate the RV experience,” said Ryan Smith, group president of Lippert’s North American OEM Operations. “BaseCamp is the culmination of our commitment to innovation, providing our customers with an unparalleled leveling system that is smart, consistent and convenient, making their travels more enjoyable than ever before.”
