Little Guy Trailers has set up a two-year long campaign with Girl Camper, the largest organization of solo women travelers in the country.
The campaign will highlight Little Guy’s new Micro Max, a lightweight, full-featured travel trailer that is also garagable.
The Little Guy Micro Max has a dry weight starting at just 1,860 pounds, making towing easy with most SUVs and trucks. It sleeps up to three adults and provides seating room for up to six adults.
“I have owned both a Little Guy Mini and a Little Guy Max so when the Micro launched, I knew it would be a great fit for Girl Camper,” said Janine Pettit, founder of Girl Camper and editor-in-chief of Girl Camper Magazine. “It’s built with the same impeccable construction, tons of storage, plenty of amenities but best of all – it’s so lightweight that you can pull it with a Jeep Wrangler, which is what Lesa McDermott will use to tow her new Micro Max in the year ahead.”
McDermott is vice president of operations of Girl Camper and an avid RVer. However, she said it’s been difficult to find an RV lightweight enough to pull with her favorite vehicle – her Jeep Wrangler.
“Having such a compact RV means I can get up and go with ease,” she said. “But I haven’t sacrificed any comforts. I have a full kitchen, a dinette that converts to a queen bed and another dinette that converts to a twin bed all with plenty of storage. I chose the standard option without the cassette toilet, but it’s impressive that it’s an option. I also chose the upgraded touring package with solar so I can easily camp off the grid.”
Girl Camper is a national organization of solo women campers with 26 Girl Camper chapters across the country, hosting more than 400 events a year; a website that gets more than 1 million visitors a year, a Facebook group with more than 420,000 members and it receives 2.5 million engagements a month through its digital presence and its print and digital quarterly magazine.
