“We are exploring all options and excited about the possibilities of a business venture with Jay Feldman/Mark Wahlberg group,” said Christopher Haydocy, president of Haydocy Buick GMC, a local family-owned and -operated dealership since 1954.
Haydocy said the partnership will accelerate his plans for a “resort-style” RV park next to the dealership.
“The RV resort will go from the back burner to the front burner,” he wrote in an email.
Paperwork with Ohio secretary of state’s office was filed a week ago under the name Mark Wahlberg Buick GMC of Columbus for the dealership at 3895 W. Broad St. Haydocy also filed paperwork to establish company Feldhay LLC a couple weeks ago.
Wahlberg visited the dealership, and the Wahlburgers food truck served customers. Similar events could occur with this acquisition, but details are being worked out, Haydocy said.
