MB Quart will showcase its new Premium Series speakers at SEMA 2019 in Las Vegas at booth No. 60012. Included in the new line is a reintroduction of a classic MB Quart configuration, the PS1-316 400-watt, three-way component system.
This Premium system is a three-way component package complete with a pair of newly designed 1-inch magnesium dome Widesphere tweeters, as well as two pairs of mid-range and mid-bass drivers.
The larger drivers start with a pair of 4-inch, mid-range speakers and a pair of 6.5-inch, mid-bass drivers for drums and high-sub frequencies. These drivers utilize the curvilinear cone shape, which are constructed from a lightweight, aerated pop-paper with mica blend. The mids and mid-bass speakers are housed in a frame which is engineered with PA66 composite with 30 percent glass fiber added. This material renders the frame inert, eliminating harmonic distortion from vibration, according to the company.
“At MB Quart, we put sound quality above everything else and our new Premium Series speakers are just the latest example of this approach,” said Brian Sherman, VP of product and marketing for Maxxsonics USA. “The use of exotic materials, like lightweight aerated pop paper cones with Mica blend and real magnesium tweeter domes, is yet another big step in performance for the MB Quart brand.”
