As part of RVs Move America Week in Washington, D.C., in early June, a new offering for attendees this year will be instruction on dealing with the media.
Media training will take place at 1:45 p.m. on Monday, June 6. Organizers said this interactive session is designed to provide participants with the tools for handling media interviews and empower them to deliver their message with confidence when interacting with media, whether in print, on the phone or on camera.
Anyone looking to brush up on their interview skills or those looking to gain a new set of skills, are invited to attend. The session will cover:
- Why it is important to work with the media
- How to have quotable soundbites
- How to handle tough questions
- How to look and sound authoritative in any media situation
When registering for RVs Move America Week, be sure to add the Media Training Session to your calendar.
For questions on the session or if you have already registered and would like the Media Training Session added to your itinerary, please contact Monika Geraci, RV Industry Association Director of PR & Communications at mgeraci@rvia.org.
