Meyer Distributing has three new warehouses: a 205,090-square-foot facility in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, will service the Northeast; a 165,105-square-foot building in Coppell, Texas, brings Meyer’s total warehouse space in that region to 650,000; and an expansion in Denver of 88,771-square-feet brings its total warehouse size there to 150,000 square feet.
“These fully integrated warehouse expansions in Pennsylvania, Texas and Colorado are necessary to keep up with growth,” says Jeff Braun, CEO of Meyer. “We continue to make investments in our warehouse network to try and hold as much inventory as possible for next day shipping. The Carlisle, Pennsylvania, facility will also have truck routes that will improve service and delivery times to the Central and Southern Pennsylvania regions.”
In addition to the warehouse news, Meyer Distributing said it has incorporated Battery Tender and Hyperion products by Deltran into its product inventory to better serve the RV, automotive, motorcycle and marine markets.
Deltran makes a variety of parts and components, including batteries, battery charges, jump starters, inverters, solar products and others that serve these markets.
“Battery Tender is a fantastic brand, and Meyer is excited to bring their product to our dealer base,” said Ben Johnson, Meyer’s category sales manager for RV and marine. “Battery Tender’s products are bound to provide a great deal of utility and convenience for marine, RV, automotive and motorcycle consumers.”
