Mike Regan of Crestview RV Center in Buda, Texas, was elected RV Dealers Association chairman of the board during the association’s annual meeting on Nov. 7, held in conjunction with the 2018 RV Dealers Convention/Expo in Las Vegas.
During his remarks to members, Regan pledged to continue to support efforts to improve the industry repair event cycle time (RECT).
“If we focus on improving the parts and repair process as a goal, we as an industry can and will improve the ownership experience,” said Regan.
He and other RVDA dealer leaders have been extensively involved in providing preliminary data to measure RECT for the industry, according to RVDA.
Also elected to officer positions at the meeting: First Vice Chair Ron Shepard of Camperland of Oklahoma in Tulsa, Okla.; Second Vice Chair Chris Andro of Hemlock Hill RV Sales in Southington, Conn.; Treasurer Mike Pearo of Hilltop Trailer Sales in Fridley, Minn.; and Secretary Sherry Shields of Pan Pacific RV Center in French Camp, Calif. Tim Wegge of Burlington RV Superstore in Sturtevant, Wis, is the immediate past chair.
Ryan Horsey of Parkview RV Center in Smyrna, Del., and Scott Silva of Cold Springs RV Corp. in Weare, N.H., were elected to the board of directors by the RVDA board of delegates. They join director Nathan Hart of Walnut Ridge Family Trailer Sales in New Castle, Ind., on the board along with RVAC Chairman Jeff Hirsch of Campers Inn; RVRA Chairman Scott Krenek of Krenek RV Center, Coloma, Mich.; and Mike Molino RV Learning Center Chairman Jeff Pastore of Hartville RV Center, Hartville, Ohio.
RVDA President Phil Ingrassia continues as a non-voting member of the board.
