The Graves County Sheriff’s Department says a report came in shortly after 6 a.m. Sunday about suspicious activity at Tindal Truck Sales north of Mayfield. When they arrived, deputies met 50-year-old Todd Hamilton Wishon of Walkertown, North Carolina and 55-year-old Timothy Alan Doss of Mount Airy, North Carolina. Both men reportedly told deputies they were just looking at the trucks that were on the lot.
Deputies said their investigation revealed the men were in a truck pulling a stolen 20-foot trailer containing several items including an engine, transmission, fuel tanks and other items stolen from Tindal Truck Sales and Youngbloods RV Supercenter. They also found eight grams of methamphetamine, digital scales, baggies and illegal prescription drugs in the truck. Four handguns were also found, one of which had been reported stolen out of North Carolina.
Both men were booked into the Graves County Jail. The investigation is ongoing.
