The National RV Training Academy (NRVTA) today announced that registration is open for the 2022 Expo, which provides continuing education courses for RV inspectors and technicians.
Co-hosted by the National RV Inspectors Association (NRVIA) and the RV Technician Association of America (RVTAA), the virtual event is scheduled for Monday through Friday, Sept. 26 – 30, and currently features 16 webinars exploring a variety of topics of interest to people who fix and inspect RVs. Additional sessions may be added in the weeks ahead.
People who attend all of the webinars will receive at least 26.5 continuing education units (CEU), and even more if additional sessions are added. A total of 24 CEUs are required annually for inspectors and technicians to maintain their professional credentials with the associations.
To earn the credits, expo participants need to either attend the training sessions as they are livestreamed during the event or watch the videos when they are released after the expo’s conclusion. They must also pass a brief quiz at the end of each session to earn credit for participating.
“We are excited about this year’s expo because it gives our members an opportunity to earn all their CEUs in just one week of training,” said Gilda Mitchell, director of membership benefits for NRVIA and RVTAA. “We have assembled a well-rounded selection of courses that will help maintain and enhance our members’ skills. They will also become familiar with changes to specific products and procedures for evaluating components and, in the case of technicians, fixing problems.”
The complete webinar schedule can be viewed at www.nrvtaexpo.com. Inspectors and technicians will need to register for the free training by logging into their accounts at www.rvservicegroup.com.
At this time, registration is only open to NRVIA and RVTAA members. If space permits, registration may be open to non-members in September for a fee.
The 2022 Expo is sponsored by these organizations:
- Tom Manning & Associates, a company representing 18 RV supplier firms that produce and sell components commonly found in RVs.
- Miller Farrell Insurance Agency, which provides professional liability coverage for technicians and inspectors.
- Road Life Project, which works to make parts available to NRVIA and RVTAA members at discounted prices.
