The National RV Training Academy (NRVTA) staff participated in the fourth annual rally of Alliance RV owners earlier this month in Goshen, Indiana.
The event took place at the Elkhart County 4H Fairgrounds May 31 to June 2. Approximately 290 rigs were registered for the rally which attracted more than 600 people from across the United States and Canada. It featured social events, training programs and an opportunity to tour the Alliance RV factory in Elkhart.
Tony Flammia, NRVTA director of sales and marketing, staffed a booth at the event to answer questions and guide participants through the new Alliance Academy. The online platform is designed to help Alliance owners better understand how to use their RVs and onboard systems. The program includes a series of videos describing basic RV systems as well as providing detailed walk-thru orientations for Alliance RV models.
“We enjoyed an opportunity to strengthen our relationship with the Alliance RV staff as well as the company’s RV owners,” said Flammia. “Our involvement was a continuation of relationships formed at the Alliance RV rally held last November at NRVTA’s campus in Athens (Texas).
“At that time, Alliance RV owners were able to attend a special RV Fundamentals course to learn how to diagnose and repair many systems and components onboard their RVs. At this spring’s rally, we provided more information about the Alliance Academy, which people can access online or via a special app.”
A silent auction was held during the rally to raise money to benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Elkhart. To support the auction, NRVTA donated two free RV Fundamentals classes for an upcoming session starting Nov. 6.
“Alliance RV owners are a fun-loving group and we really enjoyed getting to know them better,” said Flammia. “We are looking forward to seeing a bunch of them again this November when Alliance RV hosts another owner empowerment rally at the NRVTA campus.”
