nuCamp RV has launched several new models at the RVX show.
Beginning in late 2015, nuCamp RV expanded operations of manufacturing teardrop trailers to include a truck camper. This year marks the company’s foray into the full-sized travel trailer market. A retro fiberglass camper is also expected to be added to the product line in 2020.
“Our success in the teardrop market has provided us the opportunity to bring our quality and innovation to new segments of the RV industry,” said Scott Hubble, CEO of nuCamp RV. “The TAB and TAG teardrop trailers will remain at the heart of our company, but we are also excited about the future of our new product lines. We are committed to continuous improvement.”
The first RV to launch will be the Cirrus 720 truck camper. The Cirrus 720 is a hard-sided, non-slide truck camper optimized for a three-quarter ton pickup truck. Production of the unit began in February 2019. The Cirrus 720 is the third model in the Cirrus line, and represents an exciting new vision for the truck camper segment.
“Dealers and customers have long expressed interest in more nuCamp RV products,” Hubble said. “Their feedback inspired us to develop the 720 Cirrus truck camper and also a full-sized travel trailer. We see a great opportunity to apply our high standards to this segment.”
In April 2019, nuCamp RV will begin production of the AVIA, a 28’ full-sized travel trailer. Its aluminum frame technology and Azdel sidewalls give the coach a graceful silhouette, and its interior is crafted with European-inspired components, modern cabinetry, and plush fabrics.
