Matt Havens, an expert in generational issues and leadership, will deliver the keynote address at the National Association of RV Parks & Campgrounds’ (ARVC) Outdoor Hospitality Conference & Expo (OHCE).
According to ARVC member surveys, one of the most pressing issues in the outdoor hospitality industry is the generational divide between employees.
“We are listening to our members’ needs and pain points and building education at OHCE to help find the solutions,” said Paula Horwitz, ARVC’s executive director of education and events. “We selected Matt because his expertise in this area will help OHCE attendees navigate this very timely issue and his ability to captivate an audience will certainly make for a memorable keynote.”
Havens brings more than a decade of experience at the forefront of leadership and generational issues for a Fortune 50 company. During his OHCE keynote, attendees will also learn how to understand, recognize and resolve every generational issue facing today’s workforce. Attendees will walk away with several immediately applicable strategies to solve problems caused by the disconnect between different generations, helping to inspire a healthier and more robust work ethic and attitude in employees of all ages, according to the organization.
OHCE is a four-day event from Nov. 4-7 in Knoxville, Tenn., and includes more than 40 educational seminars, a trade show with more than 120 vendors, tours of local campgrounds, a CPR/disaster preparedness class, and ARVC’s Awards of Excellence program.
