OHI Announces Jessica Turner as Featured Speaker for OHCE 2026
OHI announced Jessica Turner, current president of the Outdoor Recreation Roundtable (ORR), as a featured speaker at the 2026 Outdoor Hospitality Conference & Expo (OHCE), Nov. 9-11 in Fort Worth, Texas. Big ideas are coming to Fort Worth, and Jessica Turner is bringing an important voice to the conversation.

Turner will share her perspective on the outdoor recreation industry, drawing on nearly two decades of experience spanning federal policy, outdoor recreation advocacy, conservation, industry leadership and government relations. Her career has taken her from the U.S. Department of the Interior and Capitol Hill to leading one of the country’s largest outdoor recreation coalitions.
As the first president of the Outdoor Recreation Roundtable (ORR), Turner has spent the past eight years bringing together organizations across the outdoor recreation economy and advocating for policies that support outdoor access, infrastructure and the continued growth of the sector. Under her leadership, ORR helped advance landmark legislation including the Great American Outdoors Act and EXPLORE Act.
Turner also played a role in securing formal government recognition of outdoor recreation as one of the nation’s leading economic sectors during her time with the Outdoor Industry Association. Earlier in her career, she worked at the Department of the Interior, where she managed external relations for the Secretary and worked on national outdoor recreation initiatives including First Lady Michelle Obama’s Let’s Move! Outside and Let’s Move! in Indian Country programs.
“The outdoor hospitality industry is a vital engine of the broader $1.3 trillion outdoor recreation economy,” said Turner. “I’m thrilled to join leaders from across the sector in Fort Worth to discuss how we can continue working together to strengthen outdoor infrastructure, expand public access and keep the outdoor economy strong for years to come.”
Turner’s appearance at OHCE comes as she begins a new chapter in her career. On Nov. 9, she will become president and CEO of the Theodore Roosevelt Conservation Partnership (TRCP), following her eight-year tenure at ORR. She will remain with ORR through its leadership transition.
At OHCE, Turner will bring that experience to the outdoor hospitality community, offering a look at the broader outdoor recreation landscape and the advocacy, policy and economic forces shaping its future.
“Jessica brings a perspective that reaches well beyond any one segment of outdoor recreation,” said Paul Bambei, President And CEO at OHI. “Her experience working across government, business and the broader outdoor recreation community will give OHCE attendees a valuable look at the forces shaping the future of outdoor hospitality.”
OHCE 2026 brings campground owners, operators, suppliers and outdoor hospitality professionals together in Fort Worth for three days of education, networking and connection. The event features more than 40 educational sessions, along with an Expo Hall featuring industry suppliers and additional opportunities to connect with peers and learn from leaders across outdoor hospitality.
OHCE 2026 takes place Nov. 9-11 at the Fort Worth Convention Center, with additional programming taking place Nov.8 &12. Registration and the full event agenda are available at ohi.org/ohce.
