OHI announced the results of its board election with a few new faces among the group representing the outdoor hospitality industry at the national level.
The board election took place leading up to OHI’s 2023 Outdoor Hospitality Conference and Expo (OHCE) Nov. 5-9 in Kansas City, Missouri, and newly elected board members were sworn in at the annual Membership Meeting on Nov. 9.
The two newly elected board members include John Sheedy of Park Brokerage and Jed Wood of Blue Rocks Campground. Both will serve a three-year term, up for re-election in 2026.
Board members Ed Miller of Rush No More RV Park, Resort, Cabins & Campground; and Jim Button of OHE, Evergreen Campsites, were re-elected to a second three-year term, and Barb Krumm of Ocean Lakes Family Campground was elected to her first three-year term after being appointed to complete a term vacated last year.
Sheedy and Wood joined existing board members in electing the board’s newest Executive Committee of Joe Moore (chair), Jim Button (vice chair); Charles Amian (second vice chair); Jeff Hoffman (treasurer) and Brian Saunders (secretary). Also on the Executive Committee are Immediate Past Chair Bert Davis and Paul Bambei, president and CEO.
