Tom Cove, president and CEO of Sports and Fitness Industry Association; Glenn Hughes, president of American Sportfishing Association; Scott Schloegel, senior VP for government relations for the Motorcycle Industry Council; and Nicole Vasilaros, senior VP for government and legal affairs at the National Marine Manufacturers Association, are all testifying at public hearings this week and next.
The current administration’s practice of levying tariffs on a wide variety of products has had an adverse impact on the recreational community, from running shoes to boats, motorcycles, RVs and other motorized and non-motorized equipment.
