Palm RV, located in Fort Myers, Fla., was recently listed in the 2019 Top 50 RV Dealers in North America Awards. The recipients were named by RVBusiness at the RV Dealers Association Convention Expo last week.
“Palm RV is thrilled and humbled to receive the nomination and award again,” said Tom Wegge, owner/president of Palm RV. “Our entire Palm RV family of employees are dedicated to giving our guests the best experience in all of southwest Florida.”
RVBusiness and marketing communications agency BJ Thompson Associates asked manufacturers to nominate dealers across the U.S. and Canada who exemplify best practices and excellence in their field. Nominees were then invited to fill out comprehensive applications covering a wide array of subjects, including practices pertaining to consumers, staff, marketing, charitable endeavors and overall business procedures. An independent panel of industry experts then pored through scores of applications during an intensive, two-day closed-door session.
Wegge stated that Palm RV has won the Top 50 Dealer Award twice in recent years.
“Whether our guests are local or snowbirds traveling from the north country, we treat every guest the way we want to be treated ourselves,” Wegge added. “Our mission statement and 10 rules of customer service give our employees a roadmap for how to serve our guests – but just as important, how to interact with each other. This Top 50 Award was achieved because of the dedication of our Palm RV employees.”
