PIRIT Heated Products has acquired Wrap-On Company’s pipe and roof and gutter heat cable business. Wrap-On’s heat cables prevent pipes from freezing and ice-dams from forming on roof-tops, in gutters and in down-spouts. With the addition of these new products, PIRIT will now have the opportunity to reach a wider audience in the DIY market while adding new products for customers in the RV industry.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Under the terms of the agreement, PIRIT gains the rights to the brand name and all trademarks associated with Wrap-On’s heat cable products. Over the coming weeks, the Wrap-On operations will be integrated into PIRIT’s offices in Vermont.

PIRIT will offer the Wrap-On products immediately through direct sales and will make them available through its website over the coming weeks.
