Pleasure-Way Industries announced the promotion of John Mattern to general manager, effective Sept. 1.
Mattern has been with Pleasure-Way for 22 years, building extensive experience across both the sales and production sides of the company. Most recently serving as operations manager, he has developed a comprehensive understanding of Pleasure-Way’s products, manufacturing processes, dealer relationships and customers.
Throughout his career, Mattern has played an important role in maintaining the quality, craftsmanship and attention to detail for which Pleasure-Way is known. His experience working across multiple areas of the business gives him a valuable perspective on how product development, manufacturing, sales and customer expectations must work together.
As GM, Mattern will oversee Pleasure-Way’s day-to-day operations and work closely with the company’s management team across manufacturing, sales, product development, purchasing, quality control and customer support. His appointment strengthens Pleasure-Way’s leadership structure as the company continues to develop its product lineup and pursue opportunities for long-term growth.

Mattern said he is looking forward to taking on the expanded leadership role.
