As of Nov. 1, RCD RV is expanding into northeast Ohio with the acquisition of Avalon RV Centers in Medina and North Ridgeville, both suburbs of the Cleveland and Akron/Canton markets.
Both RCD RV and Avalon RV have a family-owned, 50-plus year history serving RV customers.
“Avalon RV Center’s current staff is one of the most tenured in the business and we are looking forward to combining synergies to take our customers’ experience to an even higher level,” said RCD owners Brad and Ryan Haire.
With the addition of the two Avalon locations, RCD will be able to expand its current central Ohio brands with an exclusive Forest River offering at the Medina location and an exclusive Keystone RV lineup at the North Ridgeville store. In addition, the two new locations will represent the area’s most robust lineup of pre-owned motorhomes and towable products.
Over the next year, Avalon RV Center locations will continue to operate under the same name and will slowly transition to the RCD RV brand early next fall to allow for better branding and clear communication with customers.
