REDARC Introduces RS3 Inverters for Advanced RV & Van Electrical Systems

REDARC inverter

REDARC, an industry leader in power management systems for over 45 years, announces the launch of its new RS3 Inverter series, expanding its power lineup with a solution for RVs, van conversions and high-end electrical buildouts.

Designed for integration into RV electrical systems, the RS3 Inverters deliver clean, reliable AC power while simplifying installation and improving electrical bay layouts. With a compact footprint, lighter weight, and an integrated Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS), the RS3 is engineered to reduce installation complexity and help builders deliver efficient, production-ready power systems, according to a press release.

The RS3 series is available in 1200W, 2000W and 3000W models, giving installers the flexibility to match inverter capacity with battery banks and onboard appliance loads. Each model produces a stable, pure sine-wave output suitable for powering modern RV appliances, including induction cooktops, laptops, coffee machines, televisions and other household electronics commonly used on the road.

A key advantage of the RS3 lineup is its built-in Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS), which allows RVs to automatically switch between battery power and shore power without interruption or manual switching, the press release said. When shore power is connected, the inverter passes through AC power and preserves battery capacity. Once disconnected, the system instantly returns to battery power. By eliminating the need for a separate transfer switch, installers can reduce wiring complexity, simplify system layouts and save valuable installation time.

The RS3 series is engineered to support cleaner, more efficient electrical installations. With WAGO-style connectors and a simplified setup that requires no software configuration or programming, installers can complete builds faster and reduce the potential for setup errors.

Designed with RV manufacturing and professional upfitters in mind, the RS3 is up to 26% smaller and 28% lighter than comparable inverters, giving builders more flexibility when designing electrical bays and vehicle layouts where space and weight are critical.

The inverters are also built to perform in real-world RV conditions. The RS3 delivers full output power even in electrical compartments operating at temperatures up to 104°F (40°C), providing more usable real-world power in heat-prone installations where many inverters must reduce output.

With full RV-C compatibility and a rugged design engineered for vibration and demanding mobile environments, the RS3 series is designed to perform reliably whether installed in motorhomes, van conversions, or fifth wheels traveling far beyond paved roads.

The RS3 series continues REDARC’s commitment to providing installers and RV manufacturers with reliable, installation-ready power solutions that simplify builds while delivering dependable power for life on the road. By offering both original outlet-equipped Pure Sine Inverters and the new hardwired RS3 models, REDARC now provides builders with greater flexibility to match the inverter to the installation.

The RS3 Inverters are available now online and through authorized REDARC partners. For more information, visit redarcelectronics.com/us/rs3-inverters.
