Regency RV has announced a new van division to complement its RV segment.
Regency Vans was formed in 1982 and over the years became one of the largest van conversion companies in North America. Due to economic and market shifts in the early 2000’s, the company said it moved away from vans and pivoted to truck conversions and, in 2014, entered the RV market.
“We believe we are positioned well, thanks to a rich history of experience in the van segment, and a shift in consumers who are looking to enjoy the mobile lifestyle that vans offer today,” said Don Emahiser, president and CEO.
Regency Vans will be built on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis and the Ford Transit chassis. The vans feature upscale designs with contemporary furniture, handcrafted interiors, luxury appointments; yet are priced to sell, the company said.
“Our initial launch was to our existing dealers and the response has been tremendous, almost overwhelming,” Emahiser added.
Regency Van and Regency RV are based in Fort Worth, Texas.
