RV Care recently held its 4th National Dealers Meeting in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. More than 100 dealers and staff from 70 dealerships across the country, and 15 premier partners, from Canada and the U.S., made their way to Toronto on Dec. 1 to attend the annual event. The theme of the meeting was “Get Connected,” which was defined as broadening the scope and implementation of robust new web-based platforms that will drive the group’s internal capabilities.
“The underlying challenge, with our aggressive growth, has been unifying the group’s message and finding the consensus that all dealers will support, with purpose. This is the ultimate goal. What is undisputable, is that we, our dealers and vendor partners, all want the same thing, which is to satisfy more RVing customers’ needs,” said Derek Paterson, VP of sales and marketing. “This meeting also focused on presenting more ways for us to connect our network brand with our dealers’ brands so everyone can see the advantages and benefits they have when supporting our network. By all accounts the message to the group was really well received, as was confirmed through the instant question & answer software we used during the day.”
Earlier in the year, RV Care announced its new partnership with Kampgrounds of America (KOA). Toby O’Rourke, president and CEO of KOA, was the keynote speaking for the national meeting. She presented insightful data on what the trends of the camping industry are indicating and how KOA is in the forefront of understanding the consumers and positioning themselves accordingly, in order to sustain their continued positive growth. Her message was well positioned to assist RV Care and its dealers in how to align the network with the changing RVing demands.
Don Sneyd, RV Care’s chairman of the board and founding member, concluded the meeting with a group champagne toast and closing statement, “This is just the beginning.”
The RV Care Network has been a part of the Canadian RV landscape since 1999.
