This summer, 12 aspiring female RV technicians will get the opportunity to receive the RV Technical Institute (RVTI)’s gold standard training, thanks to a partnership between the RV Women’s Alliance and RVTI.
The all-female Level 1 class will take place Aug. 1-5 and be offered free of charge to 12 women from the RV industry.
Through the partnership, the RV Technical Institute will provide training free of charge and the RV Women’s Alliance will provide scholarships to cover the hotel stay for students during the week of their training.
“The RV Technical Institute and the RV Women’s Alliance are very aligned in the value we place on education and providing the skills to people in our industry to succeed and grow in their careers,” said Tracy Angelmeyer, RVTI director of recruitment and RV Women’s Alliance board member. “It just makes sense for us to partner together on this opportunity to train more women RV technicians.”
Any woman in the RV industry who is interested in a career as an RV technician is encouraged to apply for one of the twelve spots available in the class. Applications will be accepted until June 24, and selected applicants will be notified by July 1.
