RVDA Con/Expo To Spotlight Rapidious Pricing & Market Intelligence

Why do some RVs sell quickly while seemingly similar units remain in inventory for months? One factor may be how effectively dealers identify changing market conditions and make timely, independent pricing and inventory decisions.

Justin Marvin, co-founder and senior vice president at Rapidious, and Kishore Rajgopal, founder and CEO at Rapidious, will discuss the use of market intelligence and adaptive pricing tools during an education session at the 2026 RV Dealers Convention/Expo in Las Vegas.

During the 8 a.m. Thursday session in the Champagne 1 room, part of the Dealer/GM track, attendees will examine how dealers can evaluate changing market conditions using information such as competitive inventory, historical market activity, aggregated market data, sales velocity, time-to-sell, inventory age and local and regional trends.

Rather than relying primarily on static book values, advertised asking prices or periodic manual reviews, dealers can use market intelligence to identify changes earlier and support their own pricing, appraisal, stocking and acquisition decisions.

The session will examine factors that may cause some RVs to move quickly while others age in inventory and how dealers can use data to respond to changing market conditions before carrying costs and potential margin erosion become larger concerns.

Learning objectives for the session include:

  • Identify market conditions that may contribute to differences in RV sales velocity and inventory age.
  • Evaluate pricing and appraisal decisions using market activity, competitive inventory, historical information, sales velocity, and time-to-sell data.
  • Recognize early indicators that inventory may be becoming aged, mispriced, or more difficult to sell.
  • Use data and market intelligence to support independent stocking, acquisition, appraisal, and pricing decisions.
  • Understand how adaptive pricing tools can help dealers evaluate factors such as their own inventory position, changing market conditions, regional differences, inventory age, turnover, and stock-clearance objectives.
  • Consider how competitive and aggregated market information can be incorporated into a dealer’s individual decision-making process while allowing each dealership to establish its own pricing and business strategy.

Each dealership remains responsible for independently determining its own prices, margins, discounts, inventory strategy and other competitive business decisions.
