The RV Dealers Association (RVDA) of Canada reported that February’s repair event cycle time (RECT) average improved across the nation, according to data from Integrated Dealer Systems (IDS).
February’s average cycle times were down to a 64-day average – 11 days quicker than January’s average (75 days) and the quickest February average since 2020.
IDS data surveyed more than 2,500 transactions from 84 Canadian dealerships.
The cycle time for work orders impacted by two main bottlenecks improved in February. The average cycle time for work orders with at least one out-of-stock part was down to a 112-day average – just one day quicker than January, but the smallest February average since 2019.
Cycle time for work orders with warranty coverage dropped to a 77-day average in February – 12 days quicker than January and the quickest February average since 2019.
