The RV Industry Association has announced San Antonio as the next stop for the annual RVX: The RV Experience. The Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in downtown San Antonio will host, March 10-12, 2020. Visit San Antonio will have a booth in the South Lobby at this year’s RVX event to answer questions about the city, help attendees look at housing options and to get acquainted with the city’s offerings.
“San Antonio was selected due to the vibrant city life and access to all the great hotels, restaurants, and museums that connect the famous Riverwalk to the Convention Center,” said Troy James, Thor Industries VP and chairman of the trade show and events committee. “The show team, along with myself and Dave Schutz with Dometic traveled to about nine cities last year and chose San Antonio because of the campus feel the city has.”
“Part of the strategy behind RVX was to rotate the show in order to ensure greater coverage for the RV dealers and media across the country,” said Liz Crawford, RVIA’s senior VP of trade shows and events. “Adding San Antonio to the event rotation allows us to promote the RV lifestyle in major market destinations. We look forward to bringing the $50 billion RV industry to the San Antonio community.”
