The RV Industry Association (RVIA) Workforce Safety Taskforce invites its members to participate in a virtual seminar and round table discussion featuring Dr. Anthony N. Harris on Friday, Oct. 29.
Titled, “Best Practices for Achieving Compliance with Vaccine Mandates,” the discussion will focus on employers’ handling of the various vaccine mandates that are being put in place across the country.
Harris is board certified in occupational and environmental medicine with more than a decade of clinical practice. He is the owner and medical director of HFit Occupational Health, a clinical franchise headquartered in Crown Point, Ind. Harris also serves as the chief innovation officer for WorkCare Inc., a physician-led occupational health provider with more than 50 locations throughout the U.S. His company has performed more than 15 million COVID-19 screens and his leadership has been nationally featured on news outlets such as CNBC, Fox News, NPR and Bloomberg Radio.
Following the presentation from Dr. Harris, members of the Workforce Safety Taskforce will discuss how their individual companies plan to handle the implementation of testing and the practicalities of tracking testing and vaccination status of employees. The seminar will wrap up with a Q&A session for Dr. Harris and the panelists.
RVIA’s Workplace Safety Taskforce is comprised of manufacturer and supplier companies and was established to proactively address improving the safety environment for those working in RV plants. This seminar is the latest in a series of virtual and in-person events the taskforce has hosted to share information among RV companies, in effort to improve the safety and wellbeing of the RV industry workforce.
