The following is from the RV Industry Association.

The RV Industry Association (RVIA)’s Marketing and Communications team is the voice of the industry, ensuring a cohesive and positive message across the media landscape. The team’s messaging continues to draw a younger, more diverse consumer base to enjoy the benefits of RVing and the great outdoors. To assist with the association’s marketing efforts, the Marketing and Communications department recently onboarded a new content manager, Victoria Lee.

Lee

Lee graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University’s School of the Arts with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in art teacher education. She then taught at Fairfax County Public Schools in Fairfax, Virginia, as an art specialist for five years.

“When the pandemic started, it motivated me to make websites for my students. I ended up making a website for my whole department and started to make video/photo content for my students for them to continue learning,” she said.

Lee later gained additional experience with marketing and content creation efforts by working with various businesses models and small business owners. Her experience includes creative content production in the real estate industry; marketing at a commercial solar development company; and her business, Aesthetically Media, which focuses on social media management, video production and branding for businesses across northern Virginia, D.C., and Maryland. She also has a side business conducting family photography shoots.

In Lee’s new role as content manager, she will use her design, photography, videography and brand management skills. “I’ll be managing this content across the RV Industry Association, RV Technical Institute, and Go RVing websites. I’ll focus mainly on designs and photos, but I’ll work some with other communications, too,” she said. “I’m excited to work together with the team!”

When considering how she finds the RV industry to be meaningful in her own life, Lee said: “I grew up camping a lot and so I know how special it is for people who are making memories and having new experiences. I know RVing is important to a lot of families. The RV industry is how many people make their livelihoods and it’s also how many others make their outdoor memories.”
