RV Industry Association Vice President of Government Affairs, Jay Landers, has been nominated for the prestigious Stan Martin Memorial Award for his leadership and partnership with National Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds to help the RV park and campground industry throughout the COVID pandemic.
According to the ARVC, the Stan Martin Memorial Award is its highest honor, recognizing industry leaders whose tireless commitment to the RV park and campground sector of the outdoor hospitality industry is evident in their involvement, leadership, creativity, and dedication.
“I am truly honored to be nominated for this award,” said Landers. “The strength of the RV industry stems from our ability to come together and work towards a shared goal. This has never been more evident than this past spring and summer when we came together to ensure campgrounds were recognized as essential businesses and able to maintain operations at such a critical time. It was a tremendous accomplishment that would not have been possible without the work of many people from across the RV industry.”
The award will be announced and presented on Wednesday, Nov. 4, during ARVC’s Annual Outdoor Hospitality Conference & Expo, which this year is being held virtually.
