This weekend the Daytona 500 will kick off the NASCAR season, so the team at the online talk show RVing in New England is going to look at the mutual love that many RVers have for NASCAR, and vice-versa.
Hosted by Bob Zagami of the New England RV Dealers Association and John DiPietro, the weekly online program touches on a variety of RV topics and tonight, the topic will be RV popularity within the world of NASCAR.
According to the show’s hosts, “at any NASCAR event there may be upwards of 10,000 RVs on the property or in area campgrounds. At many tracks, there are more RVs at the race than there are in neighboring campgrounds.”
Tonight’s show will also feature a special guest.
“We will have on-site reporting from the ‘other’ DiPietro – John’s brother, Michael. He will be in Daytona for the race and will be calling into the show. Michael is also a ‘camper’ and follows all NASCAR divisions. For many RVers, a road trip to Daytona to enjoy the race in person is the highlight of their camping adventures,” show hosts said.
RVing in New England is at 7 p.m. ET, 4 p.m. PT, tonight, Feb. 2, here.
