The Facebook Live talk show RVing in New England will be broadcasting tonight from the 65th International Rally of the Wally Byam Airstream Club.
Approximately 915 of the silver-topped Airstreams are on hand at the Fryeburg Fairgrounds in Fryeburg, Maine. The rally draws not only attendees from the U.S. but also other countries, according to Bob Zagami, the co-host of RVing in New England.
Byam is the founder of Airstream who organized international caravans of his units to drum up publicity for them. In 1959 he organized an excursion of Airstreams from Cape Town, South Africa, to Nairobi, Kenya.
The youngest attendee at this week’s rally is Maine is just two months old, Zagami said, and the oldest is a woman “102 years young.”
Zagami is live at the rally and said he will have an opportunity to discuss the rally and all things Airstream with Justin Humphreys, its vice president of sales. He also hopes to have Tye Mott, Airstream International Club president, and Jim Roy, owner of Silver Moose Restorations in Monmouth, Maine.
RVing in New England will air tonight at 7 p.m. ET, 4 p.m. PT, here.
