The RV Technical Institute (RVTI) continued its recruitment efforts earlier this month by attending the 96th National Future Farmers of America (FFA) Convention & Expo, which took place Nov. 1-4 in Indianapolis.
FFA is the premier youth organization preparing members for leadership and careers in the science, business and technology of agriculture. The organization develops members’ potential and helps them discover their talent through hands-on experiences, which give members the tools to achieve real-world success. Members are premier professionals in many career fields, the organization said.
RVTI’s team noted that the convention was a great success. There were a record-setting 72,954 attendees this year. These included high school students, with whom RVTI shared information on the program.
In addition, RVTI partnered with Walnut Ridge RV, who provided a unit to display during the convention.
“The RV Technical Institute was excited to attend this year’s FFA Convention & Expo,” says Halle Edmister, the RVTI’s account specialist. “It was a great opportunity to share more information about the RV technician career path with the future professionals who showed an interest. We would also like to thank Walnut Ridge RV for providing the unit that was on display. Our team is looking forward to continuing our technician recruitment efforts as we head in 2024!”
