RVX: The RV Experience was recently notified of its selection by the U.S. Department of Commerce International Trade Administration to participate in the 2019 International Buyer Program (IBP) Select Service. The IBP is a joint government-industry effort that brings thousands of international buyers to the U.S. for business-to-business matchmaking with U.S. firms exhibiting at major industry trade shows.
Every year, the IBP results in approximately a billion dollars in new business for U.S. companies, and increased international attendance for participating U.S. trade show organizers. The program promotes exports by attracting international buyers to leading U.S. trade events and helping them connect with U.S. exhibitors before, during and after the show, creating opportunities for your U.S. exhibitors in overseas markets.
Other major trade events that have been selected for this program in the past include the Consumer Electronics Show, the National Association of Broadcasters Show, the National Restaurant Association Show and the Shooting, Hunting, Outdoor Trade Show.
The IBP Select program specifically focuses on promotion and recruitment in up to five international markets. Global network recruits pre-screen international buyers to U.S. trade shows to meet with U.S suppliers exhibiting at those shows.
The RV Industry Association has stated that this presents an unparalleled opportunity for RVX exhibitors to increase their international sales and help grow the RV industry worldwide. Buyers traveling to the show with an official IBP delegation will take advantage of complimentary admission, matchmaking and counseling services, and an IBP Networking Lounge.
The RVX event is designed to spark consumer interest in the RV lifestyle by unveiling the latest products, celebrating innovation, and providing inspiration and education to dealers to drive RV businesses forward. RVX will kick off the camping season, showcasing the industry’s newest product trends and sparking interest in the RV lifestyle shared by millions of Americans, while delivering educational content that empowers dealers to more effectively reach a new generation of consumers just as they’re interested in buying.
